Happy 29th birthday! It's the 6.th time I spent it this day knowing who this fine man is. He is also the person whom both me and Cypsis need to thank -  Nobuta wo Produce was the first drama we watched, followed by Proposal Daisakusen  that made us totally hooked.Who knows where we'd be without Yamapi. Of course we haven't seen all of the titles mentioned above as some of them are out of reach for us, but we will do our best to track them down.

In a lot of Asian dramas one of the main themes is LOVE. But the usual storyline always goes so that the adorable couple gets together in the last episode of the drama or they have an on-and-off relationship. I find it rather depressing and tiresome because I think that kind of relationship should be about happiness *insert rainbows and unicorns*. So I began to think about those couples who manage to have an actual and functional relationship - from what I see it's all thanks to the guys! I present you the TOP 5 Best Boyfriends!

5. Kang Baek Ho (Operation Proposal) played by Yoo Seung Ho

From childhood friends to lovers - of course he is the best one to know his girl! Their time together was rather short but he was quite perfect for the time being. From the start he made it clear that Yi Seul was the only one for him and that he was serious about their relationship - after all his biggest dream was to be the one standing next to her on her wedding day and not as the bestman but as the best man. It wasn't his fault his girl couldn't believe in him!

4. Kamiya Naoki (Buzzer Beat) played by Yamashita Tomohisa

To be honest he was kind of a wimp at the beginning like a little boy trapped into an adult body, but that was because he was with the wrong girlfriend - after all he is the only one in this list who had two girlfriends. Being with Riko made him man up. Why he belongs into this list? He prioritized Riko's dreams over them being together - not only did he achieve his own dreams but he also pushed Riko to not give up on her dreams. Of course from time to time they could have been more honest with each other, but their trust in each other makes up for it. Not to mention he is a hmm rather good kisser.

3. Lee Shin (Heartstrings) played by Jung Yong Hwa

 A lot of handholding and hugging - a man who knows the value of skinship! And he wasn't afraid to show it to the whole world. Even though they had a rough start they had a strong relationship afterwards. Scandals didn't sway his trust in his girl, his broken dreams didn't stop him from encouraging his girl to chase her own dreams even when it meant breaking up with her - sounds kind of harsh but isn't it the best thing someone can do for the one they love?

2. Domyouji Tsukasa (Hana yori dango) played by Matsumoto Jun

Everybody knows him as the violent jerk, yet he was ready to sacrifice all of his life just to be with the girl he loves. And who would have guessed that this pampered rich boy has Fire-God like fire lighting skills not to mention his hunting skills etc. It made my blood boil that he had to suffer because of -well everybody else! Even the love of his life couldn't love him as much as he was worth. 

1. Yoon Seol Chan (Monstar) played by Yong Jun Hyung

He is officially the most adorable supportive boyfriend ever! This jealous teenage boy turned into a real man the girl can lean on from the moment he got his girl while his remaining childish attitude added spark to the adorable relationship. Even though he is an idol, he gave his best to protect Se Yi even when it meant sacrificing his own precious pride. And even when he had to run between school and work, he made time to drop by her place just to let her know that he was thinking about her. Good thing Se Yi knew how to appreciate his efforts.

For the guys out there: being the perfect boyfriend is easy - just be supportive, protective, sweet, funny, good-looking and be ready to sacrifice your own life for her - wait? that's too much... Well just be yourself and show that you really care about her - that's why she fell for you in the first place (o⌒．⌒o)

Guys whose heartbreak broke my heart

The list of five guys who get really heartbroken and who put my heart into agonising pain. To  tell you the truth - my heart suffers more from their pain than when I get my heart broken in the real life. Gyoza-sake I am turning into emotionless robot in reality O.o well.. WHO CARES! =D When ever I think about these guys´ love, I feel like someone is crushing my heart.

5. Akira Kusano -Yamashita Tomohisa - Nobuta wo Produce

He gets his heart broken with seeing the picture of his love hugging somebody else. Then he starts to realize her feelings for other guy. Although he tries to overlook and forget about the picture, it stays a painful splinter in his heart... and in mine.

4. Kouta - Masuda Takahisa - Gachi baka!

 From all the guys in this list, he loved the girl for the longest - he even decided to attend the same high school as girl. You might say that she was the sun ray in his schooldays. He actually gets the girl for a while, but then he sees how his girlfriend rather call somebody else for help and has eyes for only that person.

3. Jeremy - Lee Hong Ki - You're beautiful

He starts to love her as an another guy, so it puts him into unpleasant and unknown situation. He makes her laugh and cheers her up when she is down, but she (and everyone else) sees him as a great friend.

2. Shu - Fujigawa Taisuke  - Ikemen desu ne

He is not even a friend to Mio/Miko. He is labeled as "A big brother" who looks out for her and keeps her secret safe. He might have gotten the girl if he would have told her that he knows the truth - or he would have been rejected even before. There is definitely more than one painful scene - especially when you know the original story and the outcome.

1. Nakatsu Shuichi - Ikuta Toma -Hanazakari no kimitachi e

His love starts with a bit hatred, which grows into doubting in his orientation, because the fact is that "she" is in the all boys school, so Nakatsu is in the position where he has to accept his own feelings, but Mizuki's eyes are seeing another person. Nakatsu is The best friend ever and I would not be surprised if Mizuki would have wanted him as a best-man for her wedding too.
