One Ok Rock concert in Stockholm, Sweden 10.12.2014

So I have been busy with my life and I have let down everyone who are waiting for new posts, but believe me -most of all I have had only 1,5 hours free in each day and usually it is during night. Having lack of sleep, too much work and exams at university and organizing social events for other people, does not leave me time to sit down and watch as I used to - hopefully I have more time soon. But there was something really interesting that I want to share with you!

I WENT TO ONE OK ROCK CONCERT IN STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN IN DECEMBER!!!
As I do not live in Sweden, me and my bestfriend Ton-chan started our trip day earlier. I bought tickets on day they started to sell them and made all bookings for cruise ship cabins and hostel many months before. As it was my first time in Sweden, yeah despite being so close to my country,  we decided to spend more time there, but I do not write about these things - go to Stockholm and you will see it yourself. It is a wonderful country! I know that fans from Norway and Finland also came, so greetings to everybody who attended it!
But I must say that because I do not own a phone that has camera (I great phone is still in Barcelona where it was stolen, if it is not resold already) then sadly I do not have any photo or video made by myself. Thank you all who allow me to use their videos! Love you!

The concert took place at Debaser Medis. As I have really bad memories of how I was forced to wait in line for 8 hours during one concert for another artist, we did not go too much early this time. When we arrived there were many people standing and waiting and everybody who did not know about concert, came to ask what is happening.. guess it is not usual when hundreds of people stand in a line there. But this standing went really fast and before we noticed we were inside. Before One Ok Rock there were performances by Mallory Knox and Tonight Alive.

Mallory Knox is an alternative rock band from Cambridge, United Kingdom. Sadly I was able to hear only some songs by them as they already started at 20:00. The other band Tonight Alive is from Sydney, Australia. So they also had a long way to come. As I saw from some fans faces everybody were ready for One Ok Rock when they came, so for audience they had a rough start. But as they are one of the best bands from Australia and their music is amazing, everybody enjoyed it.

Finally around 10 pm One Ok Rock came on stage. I must say that I was not right in front of the stage. I stayed a bit back in the middle in front of the audio-control to have all view on the stage and the best quality of music. In addition, I have a small health issue that makes it sadly impossible for me to stand too close to speaker and I did not want to faint because of that again, especially because this time I did not see any first aid team close to help me back on conscious.  But back to the concert..
The setlist was the same as on other concerts.
1. Intro Jam (without Taka)
2. Deeper Deeper
3. Nothing Helps
4. Re:make
5. Clock Strikes
6. Jam Sesh (without Taka)
7. Mighty Long Fall
8. Be the Light
9. Decision
10. No Scared
11. The Beginning
Encore 12. Wherever you are
They started with a instrumental intro without Taka and when he came on the stage they went on with "Deeper Deeper" which is amazing start because of Taka's voice. I must say that I do not remember much about how one or other song was because I was too excited and I enjoyed each one of them a lot, but I try to say as much as I remember. I was amazed that even though they were jumping around the stage for most of the time, they did not show any emotion of being exhausted even in the end. Taka has the cutest voice ever when he is talking in English. It was really easy to understand everything he said.
Then they went on with "Nothing Helps" and right into "Re:make" without stopping. After all this really energy consuming songs they played "Clock Strikes". This is one of my favorite songs from them. I listened it a lot when I was in Portugal when my mind was messed up with thoughts of leaving, future, what will happen next and that time does not stop, so this was really emotional song for me to hear it in live, because of course I remembered all the things that have been between and the people who changed me so much, so I was tearing up in the crowd.
After that Taka took a break and Toru and Tomoya made a little but awesome jam. (small video here - thank you Akie pookie)
Concert went on with "Mighty Long Fall". This song was used as soundtrack for second movie of "Ruroni Kenshin ~ Kyoto inferno~" (movie review is coming soon) and came out in 2014. I really enjoyed Taka's screamo in the end, but I do not want to know how much it actually can hurt.  They went on with concert's slowest and the most emotional song "Be the light". On Youtube you can watch it with I do not know how many different subtitles. It was written to remember the tragedy of 2011 tsunami in Japan. Yanne just went to visit  the region in Sendai that was most damaged some weeks ago and said that it is still emotionally really difficult to be there. I have cried while listening this song for many many times, so of course I cried on concert. I think it was the song where Taka's voice went the highest. It was really really beautiful performance.
I must say that for some reason I had not listen "Decision" much before. Maybe because together with "Mighty Long Fall" it is the newest songs they played and I have listened to "Mighty Long Fall" more, so I did not pay much attention to this song before. I had a feeling that I had missed one amazing song that really connects to me, so now I am actually really happy that I had a surprised like that.
The next song was "No scared" and the most powerful with its energy from the so called second half.
The last song was "The Beginning" which was like the "big break song" for One Ok Rock as if you do not know then it was the soundtrack for the first "Ruroni Kenshin" movie and after this One Ok Rock gained most of its popularity. Applause for everybody who also knew One Ok Rock and were fans even before! But still, it is amazing song and everybody were singing along with it. And so they left the stage.
They took a long time before coming back to the stage to give encore. For encore they played "Wherever you are" which they started with Toru's acoustic guitar. Before starting Taka said "Tack för du alla" which means "Thank you all"in Swedish and promised that they definitely will go back to Sweden again in future. As this song means so much to me and all the emotions together I had tears falling down from my cheeks. They thanked the crowed once more and said that they love us all.

Of course they had to take a video and photo for Taka's instagram, but I do not remember when was the exact moment. I actually was able to find my hand from the crowd on this video, but as I was not so close, it is too bothersome to show you.

This was the end of the concert  and they left the stage. We waited a little to for crowd to leave and drank a lot of water that they served in bar, and then we decided to leave also.. but as we were heading towards the subway, Ton-chan asked "What do you think.. is there a backdoor?" well, of course there must be a backdoor when tour-buses are parked right behind the building. And just like that we went to find that backdoor just to at least wave when they are leaving. Finding it was not so difficult as few younger girls were already waiting and we were able to see Toru waiting behind the glass-door. He was also the first one to come out. We, being shy around artists, let others surround him first, taking all photos, signs and hugs. When the order came to me, just when he looked me into eye and was ready hug, someone put their phone between to take a selfie, which made the situation way more awkward than failing high five and I think we both felt it is better not to try again.. At the same time Tomoya came out and was surrounded by selfie-wanting fans. With all attention turned to Toru and Tomoya, Ryota found a way to go fast to bus without being noticed before. Finally Toru and Tomoya found their ways to bus also. Then we waited and waited and waited and staff started to bring out instruments to load the trailer and still there was no Taka.

Then Toru came out again from the bus to have a smoke. Fans had gotten everything from him that they wanted so they left him alone this time. Only one Japanese woman (who I think was actually local) was there talking to him. Well.. me and Ton-chan still had not got what we wanted so we went and politely asked if it is okey to have one hug... I can be so freaking awkward close to idols. But Toru was the sweetest and said that of course we can hug. I also thanked him and One Ok Rock for the concert and we talked a little bit that we only came to Sweden to attend their. He was pretty surprised to hear that, but also really happy :D He seriously was the sweetest thing on earth as he was so kind to us and gave the possibility to have conversation. But then we left him to finish his cigarette in peace and we went to wait for Taka.

But this time we did not have to wait for long time as the staff had finished loading the things and finally came Taka. The amount of fans had increased suddenly and it took a long time for him to take all photos and sign the autographs. With some people he even took their phone and made a selfie himself. He was wearing his slippers, so I believe that his feet were freezing, because the temperature was really cold already, but he did not let it bother him and gave all the fans what they wanted. So this time I got my hug faster than with Toru. To tell you the truth then I was really surprised about his height.. He is much shorter than I thought he is and he seems to be even shorter than it is officially said. Officially they say that he is 168 cm (5'6''). I understand that compared to Japanese I am already taller and I was wearing high heels (I am 164 and had 7 cm heels so at concert 171 in total), but with Taka... hmm.. Let's say so that there was definitely more than 3 cm difference between us. Also, Ton-Chan is 158 and had 4 cm heels and he was almost the same. Believe me - I can see if there is 6 cm difference or not. But that actually does not matter at all, because I love him anyways and I got my warm hug :) When he had gone to bus, we also decided to leave and go back to hostel because it was already late and cold and we had to leave from Sweden the next day and the check out for hostel was rather early.

So that was it from the most amazing concert that I have been to. I will go to another one whenever there is a possibility.  They are so nice, their music is so inspiring and their performance is 120% of greatness!
I would like to say that even when I do not write so many reviews or post, I promise you, my dear readers, wherever you are - I still love you! I still be with you! (Thank you Micaaelaa5 for such great video recording!)
